The ViziGenHC family of applications

The ViziGenHC family of applications are basically code generators that produce HTML and CSS files. The mark-up is standards-compliant, designed to produce consistent results in a wide range of browsers, and is table-free so far as page layout is concerned.

The general principle is that information that defines web page layout and content is entered using simple forms and, when required, the appropriate HTML and CSS files are generated - and uploaded to a web server using the application. The layout can be reorganised using drag and drop and the whole web site re-generated in seconds...

Nav bars, complex column layouts, and special box effects (like rounded corners and drop shadows) can be created without any knowledge of HTML or CSS. However those that want to edit the generated code or enhance it (with JavaScript for example) are free to do so within "protected areas" which are preserved by the code generator.

ViziGenHC does the hard things - the things that require the most complex HTML and CSS - and the mark-up that's generated will produce consistent results in a wide range of browsers. But it leaves you in control - free to fine tune the visual appearance or modify the content.
